Chris Gayle and Ab Devilliers Open in Super Over

Chris Gayle the West Indies player and AB Devilliers the South Africa player came out to bat in the super over of the match that was played in Indian Premier League. Both the players have earned their names for their hitting abilities. They had set the target after sixes that looked possible but the opposition team could not win the match of Indian premier League.

Chris Gayle has been the hard hitter for the teams he had played for. He never cared about the team situation and he always came in the middle to hit few boundaries and get applaud from the crow. On the other hand AB Devilliers of South Africa had just broken the record of fastest century in the world cricket.

Both the hitters were sent in the middle order by the captain of the team of Indian Premier League when they had to set a target in the super over. The super over consisted of one over and 16 runs were made in the over. Both the players of West Indies and South Africa really batted according to the expectations of the crowd.

Chris Gayle tried his best to score maximum runs but he was not able to score any boundary so all the responsibility came on the shoulder of AB Devilliers. The last time he played for his team, he smashed all over the park but this time he could only hit two sixes making the target to sixteen. That could be the match winning target.

Chris Gayle and company defended the target and won the match for their team. The captain was quite happy with the performance of world class hitters who could win matches for any team. Due to the support of the captain, the performance really spoke for both AB Devilliers and batsman of West Indies. The Indian premier League could not get a proper start without those players.
